This house is in the Gulf Gate neighborhood of
Sarasota
and is about 1 mile from Siesta Key and its world-class beaches (3 miles
to main beach).
Since the inception in 1987 of the "Great
International White Sand Challenge," the sand here has been officially top
rated every year as the whitest and most powdery sand in the world.
Independent judges selected Siesta Key's sand over 29 other world-wide
entries, including the Bahamas and Grand Cayman.
This tranquil, older neighborhood features the
classic Florida home – single-story, ranch-style, concrete homes with
barrel-tile roofs. Yards and homes are beautifully maintained in Gulf
Gate, while winding streets and mature trees enhance the comfortable
atmosphere. An ideal location, Gulf Gate is just minutes from movie
theaters, major shopping centers, schools, restaurants and Siesta Key
Beach. The Gulf Gate Golf Club offers both nine-and 18-hole
executive courses.
